French for “the wild beasts”, the Fauves – a group of painters in the early 20th century– had a knack for bright colors and confident marks. How many ways to paint can you count? Well there’s brushes, and palette tools of course, but what about bubble wands and or tools you get to invent yourself? We’ll be trying out all sorts of ways to paint, and move our bodies to make our marks. We will experiment on different surfaces using watercolor, homemade paints, tempera, powdered paint and even mix up a batch of our own with a sample to take home
