Recommended for Ages: 5-9. **Free pickup from PS705 Brooklyn Arts and Science Elementary School.   Healthy snacks, homework help, and drawing until after school starts.

Artists will be introduced to  a variety of methods and techniques. They will be working with plaster, fabric, clay, papermaking, and as always we’ll leave lots of  room to explore the individual interests of participating artists.

Each class includes an art challenge, and introduction to a new method of creating. Projects are kept at the Art Hive over the duration of the semester so students can revisit  objects and embelish with new techniques and ideas as the weeks go by. We keep our class size small, with two teachers.

Session 1: 6 weeks
9/21, 9/28, 10/5, no class on 10/12 (Columbus day), 10/19, 10/26, 11/2
