Meet our new art teacher Cordelia!

11149265_361629170707947_1988231696818197982_nOriginally from Vermont, for over twelve years now Cordelia Johnson has been working with young children and families as a teacher, arts educator, curriculum consultant, museum docent, camp counselor, and therapist. In 2010 she received a Master’s Degree in “Arts in Education” from Harvard University and went onto work as a collaborative classroom teacher at the Reggio Emilia influenced preschool TriBeCa Community School. In 2013 Cordelia completed her Master’s in Social Work as a part of New York University Silver School of Social Work’s Clinical Work with Children and Families program. Cordelia is an artist herself, working primarily in watercolor and pen and ink,  and  has lived and worked in Clinton Hill for the last five years. Cordelia will be joining the team to lead toddler art classes, camp sessions, and one-night workshops for kids and adults!
